The past month - lunches, brunches and DIY

Its been almost a month since I last posted, and it feels like I haven't stopped but when I look back I've not that much quantifiable stuff So I've a week and a half off work (being sneaky with holiday around the double bank holiday is ALWAYS a good idea) During my lovely time off work, I met with some friends and had some lovely afternoons out and some absolutely delicious food! This involved yummy cupcakes from a lovely little bakery in Norwich called Cupcakes and Co. They've got amazing flavours and the lady who served was so friendly :) and a gorgeous brunch from CafĂ© No 33 where I had American style pancakes with maple syrup and fruit. I was also lucky enough to snag a free Byron burger from an event they were hosting which was delicious I also had a few dinners out - one at Zizzi's for a great friends birthday where I had a gorgeous cheese fondue that was to die for! A chilli dog and ice cream sundae on a team night out at Zaks American Diner. And then

All Time Low & Cambridge

So, in the past 2 weeks I've been on 2 fabulous new adventures ... I've been to my first gig in over 10 years, and I've visited Cambridge for the first time! Starting with my first gig...my friend Kelsie and I went to see All Time Low at the UEA in Norwich. Now until the day I'd never heard of All Time Low - I know, I know... I'm so not up on everything music, but when she said she was going and could get me a spare ticket, I thought why not? Who doesn't love a spontaneous night out? And it was the best decision I have made in a long time - I absolutely LOVED them!! I think Therapy was my favourite song, and even though I didn't know any of their music, I had an absolute blast and was happy to just dance along and enjoy the music. So, my second adventure was visiting Cambridge for the first time with my lovely friends Kelsie and Emma. We caught the train down (whilst having a bottle of wine - that's ok at 9.30am right?) and

So, this is my first blog... I've had a tough 6 months... fallen out with someone who I thought was my very best friend in the world, my beloved dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer, made lots of mistakes and generally fell out of love with myself in so many ways. But recently, with lots of help from amazing friends and my gorgeous hubster, I feel like I'm back on the road to being who I want to be. So I decided to start this blog as a way to show my path to loving myself again, as well as my love of all things bookish, Netflix, lifestyle, beauty and all the new adventures I'm saying yes to.
